Overview
This policy explains how Glowmender handles information and reflects the app’s current features.
Information stored by the app
Glowmender stores gameplay progress, including restored puzzle and window records, completion dates, move counts, stars, glass shards, Daily Light progress, onboarding status, and restoration progress. Progress is stored on your device.
iCloud sync
When available and enabled through your Apple/iCloud setup, progress may sync through your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit and SwiftData. We do not operate or have access to your private iCloud data.
Purchases
Glowmender offers a one-time full-game unlock. Apple StoreKit and the App Store process purchases. The app uses Apple transaction entitlement information to determine whether the unlock is owned and to restore eligible purchases.
Information sent when contacting support
If you contact support, your message may include information you choose to send. We use it to respond to your support request.
What the app does not use
Glowmender does not currently use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party ad tracking, third-party analytics SDKs, account registration, social features, user-generated content, or precise location collection. We do not sell personal information.
Apple services and third-party privacy policies
Apple services may process information under Apple’s policies. When a service provider processes information on our behalf, we require it to protect that information in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable law. Apple processes iCloud and App Store information under its own policies; please review Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Choices and controls
iCloud availability and settings are managed through your Apple device and Apple Account. You can turn iCloud sync on or off through those settings.
Retention and deletion
Gameplay progress remains on your device while the app’s local data remains there. Deleting the app may delete locally stored progress. If iCloud sync is enabled, iCloud-synced information is managed through Apple’s applicable controls and may remain in iCloud until you remove it using those controls.
Support messages are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, resolve the issue, or maintain records required by law. We do not set a fixed retention period for support correspondence.
Privacy requests
To ask about information included in a support message, or to request its deletion, contact support with the subject line “Glowmender Privacy Request.” Please describe your request and the email address used to contact support. We may ask for information needed to verify and process the request, and will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy
Glowmender does not include account registration, social features, or user-generated content. Questions about privacy can be sent to support.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. We will post the current version here with a revised update date.
